Everyday that passes is a day closer to healing and overcoming what happend to you
Message of Healing
Healing to me is reminding myself that no matter what I never deserved this and I know the truth. The days I get consumed I remind myself that 8 months ago I was too afraid to leave my house, today and everyday I am stronger and will not allow anyone to determine my future. YOU ARE NOT WHAT HAPPEND TO YOU ❤️
I spoke out against someone who I was so afraid of and still am, he perceived this "power" he had over me and his place in society. I never thought I'd be able to tell anyone never mind report, but I did. I am finding the process of the journey for justice very difficult and sometimes very isolating. On the bad days I have to remind myself, no one is above the law just because their place in society and no one no matter who they are has a right to exploit others. Looking back I sometimes feel like I've been hit in the face with a reality check of the two years of control and mind games used to take advantage of me
